Sounded like overseas call center (Scam call) reported by L. Shaw
I've actually gotten calls on my mobile from 4 different, similar numbers. All (253) 275-1###. All have come up as "Scam Likely". Out of curiosity, I used *67 from landline and called back. A girl with a heavy Indian accent identified herself as Alex, said they were interested in buying my "personal property" but did not identify the company. I asked the company name and she rattled something off very quickly I did not understand. I asked her to repeat and she said they wanted to buy my personal property. Am I interested or not? Quite snippishly. I told her to get a real life and stop trying to scam people and she hung up. So i went through my phone and did the same with 3 other numbers. One ending in 1017, one in 0931 and one in 1609. The last 2 were over a week old, and both said number can't be reached. The 1017, however, was answered by a MAN this time, also named Alex, also with heavy Indian accent, who gave me the same spiel about wanting to buy personal property. When i asked the company name he said they buy personal property. I asked who they were trying to reach, because how would they even know I own personal property when I'm calling from a blocked number and they have no idea who I am? he hung up after muttering something that sounded like profanity, in what I believe was Hindi.
