Caller launched into a pitch about how I stayed at their resort and won a free trip back to stay. It's been at least 10 years or more since I've been to a resort type destination. SCAM!

False Telemarketer (Scam call) reported by Kayla
This number called to inform me that I had stayed at one of their resorts and that I had won a trip to Florida. I have not stayed in a resort in the last five years, so I do not think this was a serious call. The speaker also did not identify themselves or their company when I asked who they were.

Scam designed to target the elderly (Scam call) reported by Kate
Call is electronic but designed to make the person answering the phone believe they are talking to a living human being. I could not interrupt the peppy girl's spiel to explain that I am elderly and on a fixed income-- they knew that anyway, as this is a scam designed to target the elderly. After listening to the canned spiel, I was turned over to a live person who was more than willing to drain my bank account.
