A female Indian voice call me that said irs mailed me twice regarding i falsely filed tax for the last 3 year and that i own irs 6872$. She call me today today for warning me that she will issue a warrant against me after the conversation ends. Then the ppolice will come to arrest me. She didnot demand for money so that you think it is a legit call and become panic for thinking you will bein jail 3 days while waiting to show up in the court. If you ask to pay immidiately, she pretend like she need approval from her senior shh** and insist you to keep the line. Then she comes back asking you if you are able to make the pay in 60 minutes. she claimed her name eve brooks with badge id and your case #. Look like they target immigrant who are lack of legal knowledge and easily get panic on legal circumtances.

Person I was talking to was claiming I owed back taxes and had a arrest warrant and it was my final notice. End of my call they ask for payments to take care of the 8,000 that I "owed" they asked for credit card number or--if family members had the money or if I had money in my bank account, told then I didn't have any money to pay then in full. So they ended my call telling that the cade was dismissed because of my background was good.

Irs invesigation scam (Scam call) reported by L.dean
Claimed to be irs investigation department. Even though i refused to confirm my identity they continued to tell me that i am under i investigation for tax evasion. Impossible since i file every year. I hung up and called irs and confirmed that it was indeed a scam
