UHC uses a call center for these robo calls. They are trying to get you to sign up for a Nurse House Visit. Once they get into your home, they'll ask you personal health questions, go through ALL your medications asking why do you have this one etc. Also they go through your home pointing out possible slip and fall scenarios. It's a way for UHC to visually check on their members to possibly assign them a (risk) number to possibly deny them coverage later on based on the members health answers, home conditions etc. Trying to explain to them that you are under a doctor's care and that a personal visit is not needed, gets you nowhere. The BIG enticement is a $15 gift card! These people are worst than the **** who knock on your door and trying to convert you!

It was kind of ironic my mother was just released from an Ltach facility a few days ago,and I am getting tons of phone calls from medical reps at the moment. So I did feel that they were someone from her insurance company calling for more details about the situation. But then they were asking me questions such as my mother’s dob,and address,nothing that no one else couldn’t find out and that wasn’t public information ,and offering my mother a new form of another Medicaid and coverage...they put me on a brief hold and as I was holding,I decided to google the phone number that they had called me from and behold tons of scammer information popped up with similar stories to mine. So I decided to hang up. They tried calling back but I just looked at my phone like it was a crazy ex girlfriend calling and ignored the call. Definitely beware and don’t give out super sensitive information,be safe and God bless????????
