I answered a call from Abraham with Tucker Company. He asked for my boss by first name. When I told him he wasn't in at the moment, he replied angrily with "can you please just tell him it's Abraham and put him on the line!" I then explained that I'd be happy to, but that still doesn't change the fact that he's not here. He then says "oh, sorry for giving you a hard time" and quickly hung up. This behavior is the #1 reason I screen all of my calls. RUDE!!!

Called and asked for the owner by name, advised i didn't think he would be in today could take a message or pass him to voicemail, similar experience with the "i'll call back" as a threat and hung up. I know this is a sales tactic taught, but one that should be rethought. I am happy to get you to the boss when he is here but not with an attitude :)

The number and a few other affiliated numbers call my workplace constantly, always asking for my very busy boss. I screen each phone call but they are stingy with information and usually hang up when I say he is busy and ask if they want to leave a message. Lately, they have been getting bolder and making stuff up. Today a woman named Amber called and said she was supposed to talk to my boss at 11:30 but had called a bit early. He has never heard of her, there is no email or appointment on his schedule. I hung up on her.

Called and demanded that he talk to the owner. Was talking very fast. Stated that his name was Zack with the Tucker Group and that he sent the owner an email. Sounded very perturbed as I was asking all kinds of questions. Put him on hold for a while and came back to tell him that the owner is not here and can I take a message or have a number so that he can call you back. He then said, I'll shoot him another email and hung up. People like him are the reason that I screen calls.

Caller by the name of Chris Davis called the main line to speak to the boss. Asked where he was calling from, but all I caught was something like "J.D. Tuckerdave". He asked "Is this some kind of answering service or something?" and hung up on me. I just pick up the phones dude... :(

Called and demanded to talk to (insert name here), told him he wasn't available and asked if I could help. He said he was with a team of Private Investigators, I told him we didn't need his services. He said if I wasn't going to LET HIM talk to him than he would just call back or email (insert name here). I told him to go for it and hung up. Blocked the number from future calls. SCAMMER!

A VERY rude male called from a 'suspected robocall' # & asked for the Controller. I said we don't have one, thank you & hung up. He called right back, from a different number, & asked for A/R. I said that's me, b/c it is, & he said 'no it's not, I've spoken to her & it's not you'. He demanded A/R several more times. I kept telling him that was me. Finally, he said he 'would be talking to the owner about this' & hung up. Good luck, honey.
