I have seen a lot of scams, and it felt a little fishy going in, however they are ligit. Directly after giving very basic info on the property for them to verify me, my listing appeared on Zillow. So it is an official number. Though they might want to put something on their site to make sure you expect it, and improve the quality of their representative's mics. The way their going about it does make it feel suspicious.

Missed a call and got a voice mail. Voice mail was rushed and quiet. I didn't understand who was calling until I checked the number here. Number calling from and number given to return call is the same. I checked my Zillow listing by owner and it was not showing. So when I returned the call, I verified the complete address after she asked if I was the owner or listing on my street name. She asked me to verify # of BR, # of Baths and asking price. I did and she thanked me and say my listing would be activated in a minute. I hung up and refreshed my screen and my listing was now active.

Caller says he is calling about my home that has come up on Zillow FSBO and needs to verify my data, gives me the street address only. I ask for the street number, he says he can't provide that information. "How am I supposed to verify information if you won't tell me what the property is?", I hung up.

When they first called I did not confirm the address and said that I wanted to check this out before I gave them any information. Did a Google search and found this page and several others, so I called them back. They asked me to verify the phone number on the account, the address, how many bedrooms and bathrooms were listed in the ad and that's it.
