Topical Pain Relief Offer (Unsolicited call) reported by


A woman with an Indian accent in an OBVIOUS call center starts by saying she is calling from "pharmacy services", trying to sound like she is affiliated with my health insurance. She says that my insurance will cover a topical cream that will relieve my 'chronic pain and dry skin'. I knew instantly she wasn't truthful because I have never reported 'dry skin' as a problem. She became irritated with me when I questioned exactly why she was calling me and she would only repeat herself. She wasn't interested in my assertion that she had nothing I wanted or that could help me. She had my address and asked to confirm that she had the correct address. Then she asked for my birthdate. I informed her that I was not in the habit of giving my birthdate to people when I haven't initiated the conversation. She continued to get frustrated with me, which was pretty funny. Apparently she's never heard of anyone with head-to-toe chronic pain before. I told her that unless they were going to send me a gallon tub of this miracle ointment, it would be a waste. I asked her to please stop calling me. I'm on the do-not-call list, but it seems this company doesn't care.
