I have received 4 calls starting the 13th of February at 8:46pm, 9:19pm, 9:57pm, and today 10:23. The caller says that they are taking a general health practices survey for the CDC and hangs up upon being asked questions like "is this real" and "what is giardia"( https://www.cdc.gov/parasites/giardia/index.html ). I also called the number (206 224 0125) back and it connects to a Washington Mental Health answering machine, BRFSS. But if you google the CDC, the DOH or the BRFSS, the number doesn't appear anywhere on any of the sites as a phone number. Parts of the number do appear as parts of statistics or in area codes because area codes. Also the most recent call had a REALLY thick Southern accent. I'm a little freaked out...

So this came out of the blue around 6:30 pm, and this lady told me she was with the CDC. She told me that only cell phone people could take part in the survey. I told her I had a landline, it's a lie, I'm on a cell phone. But what legitimate survey for health demands you have a cell phone? It all seems fishy

Survey, they do not ask your name or address and you can stop the survey at anytime. Remember you all want better health but will not help the Health Department with a simple survey to improve your services. You can also have your phone # removed from the survey service-866-784-7151 option #4. Yes I took the survey it took about 15 minutes for the whole thing.

this telemarketer--- if actually conducting a survey---- is bilking the CDC Health and state of washington health dept. I had talked with someone earlier in virginia and they promised to take my number off their list. Obviously this did not happen. By making repetitive calls the govt agencies funding these telemarketers should audit their work and not be charged for making calls to respondents who have already participated.It is shaping up to emulating a scam only the most insidious kind-- one on the govt funding agencies that are inevitably overpaying for the lack of list maintenance by the telemarketer. So sad for all of us.
