Also got a call claiming that she's a student from UW. Verifying my mailing address and phone and email. Asked about my favorite memory of UW. She called around 9pm. I asked why she's working so late. She said they have different shifts. I hung up after.

Pretended to be someone from UW. Asked for $2k (Scam call) reported by Chelsea
Someone named “Josh” called pretending to be a student at UW. He then asked to verify my email and mailing address as well. Following that he thanked me for being an alumni and asked for $2k dollars. I am not an alumni which verified my suspicions of the call. As soon as I said that he hung up without saying another word.

Asking for donation and refuse to send information to our email. (Scam call) reported by Ploy Khumsu
Pretends to be someone from the University of Washington. Claims to be a representative from UW and electrical engineer student seeking advice from alumni. Ends with asking for a donation to help other students that struggle due to pandamic, starting from $250. After being asked to send more information, the number is lower to $75. Keeps refusing to send any further detail about this fundraising, instead of that, tries to force the conversation into the actual amount to donate.

I literally had the same exact convo with him. Definitely sketchy...the relief fund he is talking about is nowhere to be found on the UW website, and his phone number isn't either.
