A man with a middle eastern man keeps calling, on a "recorded line" trying to get an employee of mine to commit to subscribing to an automation magazine. He claims it is free, despite my saying no thanks and informing him the particular employee he is requesting does not take phone calls...let alone dude says his magazine is helpful to our company although he clearly has NO IDEA what services we provide. You'd think on a recorded line he'd remember we already said no 7 other times...

Caller asked for someone that no longer owns the company and requested more updated information. They are obviously working off a script as they have said the exact same thing every day for the past week. I've told them every day that we do not want their product and I will not give out any information. Today I told them that they need to stop calling. They have called from at least 2 different numbers so far.

Every time I answer and talk to someone they are trying to get information on individuals and the company. I looked the number up on several different web sites and they all say it is a scam. They keep trying to say it is because I subscribed to some service that I never subscribed to.

The person said they were doing market research. Tried to keep me on the phone to go through a list of employees that haven't worked here in AT LEAST 5 years. Told them the had a really old list & asked what this was even for. Spouted off some nonsense & kept referring to "market research". I told them I'm not giving out employee info & that my other line was ringing & I had to go. Got bugged about it & told me they'll call back & hung up.

This number must be part of the range of numbers dedicated to the same call center - I can see more similar numbers of the same range 20348480xx reported here already, so far as I can see on internet with financial management - loans, car warranty. People did they call you with something new, new scope?
