Lady asked for someone I don't know and was really rude to me when I said I didn't know who that was even though this definitely sounded like a scam call (?) She had some kind of service she was talking about but then I asked her to stop calling this number and hung up.

Insisted she could send me a 'preservation of an article' about our business from a local newspaper I don't believe has published anything about us after I was nonresponsive to her offer of a sample article. Asked to speak to someone that I've never heard of, wanted an email address and for me to agree to be on a mailing list. When I refused the mailing list she tried to leverage sending me the article against the mailing list and I repeated my no thank you and she hung up.

He had an Indian accent and wanted my email to send me an article. When I asked him to repeat his question (because it was tough to understand with the accent) he immediately got squirmy and just asked for my email. He hung up very abruptly as well.

Same here, just received call wanting employers email address to respond to a media article. Just had a feeling it as spam. Advised him where to find it, he didn't like that answer so hung up on me! Loved it.
