claimed to be husky health but told me a fake number (Scam call) reported by


They said they're a representative for Husky health but they sent me a fake 1-800 number not associated with Husky health and they came up as a spam risk on my phone. Seems extremely fishy. There are about 100 other ways Husky and Access CT can contact me if they actually need to. They shouldn't be calling me with a flagged number and giving me a 1-800 number that isn't associated with them.

This number is associated with Husky Health Care and though they do advertise via this phone number (annoying, I know) it's also the number assigned to their main line in and out, it is safe.

This is Connecticut state health insurance. I am disabled and have been a HUSKY member for over 10 years. People saying it's a "telemarketer" are incorrect and have a trigger finger to report calls. They must've signed up for free state reminders that are technically "robocalls" for things like getting flu shots during flu season, and forgotten they did so. It's not HUSKYs fault that these people sign up for these services, forget they did so, and then get annoyed by these calls so easily that they report them as "telemarketing." Disabled and elderly people rely on these calls as relevant reminders

This is the state-run insurance program, including (but not limited to!) Medicaid for low-income adults. When you go on state insurance, you agree to get periodic phone calls reminding you to do things like get a flu shot, get free diabetes screenings, make sure you have a primary care physician, etc. The calls are automated and usually every other month. They're completely safe and harmless.
