A man called my cell phone with a foreign accent, stated he was calling from the IRS. He said there was a problem with my file. He then told me to get a pen, that the claim# was CF93271.When I asked him to spell his name he hung up!

They called me twice and did the same, they first called from 2027695256 and left a message from a Detective Somenthing that said they have a criminal case against me from IRS and i have to call them back to 2027345871 I really got scared oh my God

Robot voice trying to scare you into calling back to avoid a massive lawsuit... Even gave a bogus case number. No actual names or info given just tells you to call back asap oe they will not help and you will have to sort through it all on your own... BS...

Another stupid SCAM call with a robotic voice telling me that I have a criminal IRS lawsuit pending and to call back at that number. Just trying to scare me into giving out my financial info. The only way I would deal with the IRS is if I called them or if they sent me a certified letter. Using a robotic voice recording to give a message about a lawsuit just tells me that the scammers are too cheap to hire live operators. With as much money as this pork barrel government spends, the

I accidentally sent the above before I was finished. What I meant to say was that with all the money that this pork barrel government spends, the IRS certainly has enough to hire live operators for something as serious as a criminal lawsuit. Don't fall for these scammers and never, ever give your financial information over the phone unless you initiate the call. I hope this helps somebody.
