A light Indian accent woman called me with the exact number from the ICE website. I talked with her like more than 30 minutes. Extremely polite when asked for question, looks like they have grown to be much better. The call then transfer to a police sheriff with very very strong indian accent, this is when I found could be a scam. Please be careful. They want you to choose between pay them or go to police station for several days. At this point, it should be obvious that this is a scam. Looks like they have been conducting this for months, WHERE ARE THE POLICE????

I received a call from someone with an Indian accent claiming to be from the USCIS and they told me that I was in violation of my immigration status and that there is a complaint from my "hometown". They knew my full name and said that there is a problem with my I-94 form and Alien Registration Number. They asked me about the person who did my papers and I told them that I worked with the Office of International Students at my school and we didn't have a problem during the paperwork. The caller said that I need to update my I-94 and that I am in violation because I didn't (I'm sure I did because I'm very detailed and check everything a million times). The man on the phone then said that I need to share my alien registration number because they need to help me, and so I told them that if they were actually from the USCIS, they wouldn't ask me for personal information over the phone. With a furious tone, I asked him if he is scamming me, to which the man said no. I then insisted that this was a scam and he hung up the phone. I did not give any personal information out but the caller knew my number, my full name, and that I am an international student. I don't know how he got all of that information.

From this number, one woman told me that I violated immigration law or whatever and said it is an emergency call and is being recorded by the federal line or something. She asked me if I heard anything from my embassy, so I told her I haven't. Then she started to go over that I did not update my information on the 1-94 form which is a violation of law. So, I said that I will contact my embassy and call her back, and she said this is an emergency call. So, I said that since it is emergency, I would contact USCIS and my embassy directly. Then, she told me that since this is an emergency, if I hang up, then the police will come to my door and deport me. So, I said that in that case, I will directly contact policy and see what happens and I said I will pass down this number. The she said "Okay~ Okay~ I have no problem with that~ Go ahead~" So, I said "Alright. I will contact the police and call you back. See you" and She said " I don't want to see you. Bye" What a stupid scam call :)

he told me I violated immigration law regarding I-94 (Scam call) reported by


a guy called me and he said i have violated immigration law by not updating the admission number of my I-94. he kept rambling of how I might do bad things as an immigrant by not updating that information after staying for longer than 90 days in the US. I explained that I have an F-1 visa and my immigration status expires when I graduate but then he said it doesn't matter what type of visa I have and that's when I sense that this is a scam call. I immediately googled this number, found this page, and go to the i-94 website to get my most recent i-94 and have no issue in that so I ended the call.

This phone number is simialar to USCIS which ends in 4242. That's why many people might get confused even after searching for this number. A man with Indian accent called me - I'm calling from USCIS. - Ok - You have violated law (saying stuff I didn't understand) And this continued, I really couldn't understand his accent. I hung up.

A woman called me saying that I violated the immigration law. I asked which rule did I violated, but she could not answer this question. The most important thing is that her accent was extremely strong and it's probably Indian accent. I don't think a person working in the official department would have such strong accent that people are hard to understand. I searched the phone number, and many people said it's scam. I just hanged it up.

They called and looked for me by my names. Then he said I have violated the law bu not updating the I-94 with my A number. He asked if I had received any communication in the mail regarding this and I said no. Then he literary asked "why haven't you update your information?" I said I want my attorney to take care of this and he said "NO he can not". I said "yes he can, he is my attorney and I want him to follow up on this. send me an official letter in the mail". He hung up as soon as I asked him to send me a letter and talk to my attorney. But he gave a stroke at the beginning.

I received the call and the people told me that I messed up with my current status information. They asked me to click the USCIS official website to check the phone number. Their number was the same as it shown on the webpage. However, when I asked they about my current status, they seemed to know nothing. So I felt things went weird and I hanged up the phone call.

Scam call! That said that they were from USCIS (later ICE), saying that my green card information was missing from the I-94. And they will have to arrest me in 20mins, unless I transfer a bond money to an “attorney”. They have a second teammate who calls you in a local phone number (that will show up as your local police). Total scam. Don’t bother talking.

She said my i94 needs to be updated. Try to ask my bank and vehicles information. And when I ask her to send my email, she knew my email address already. I ask 'how do you know my email', then she hang up the phone. That's terrible. How could they know my name, phone number, email address.

A woman call me saying that she was from the ICE department and that I was illegal in USA, but she didn't know that I have a green card and that I have been living here for many years; then, when I asked her phone number to check if the call was legit, she said that she will re-check my personal information in the system and that she will call me later and give me her phone number. So far, she hasn't called again.

Said from USCIS ((United States Citizenship and Immigration Services) and said you missed to provide information on i-94 form which is illegal.. but the thing is he cannot tell what is ur current visa status even they are from USCIS. LoL If you want to find a guy to chat during quarantine, it's not a bad thing though.
