Left a message when I missed the call and said they were with the IRS and If I didn't call back they were issuing an arrest warrant. I called back and a foreign woman immediately answered and said they were with the IRS and they would be issuing an arrest warrant if I didn't resolve the issue by paying almost $3000. When I questioned her on truly being with the IRS she became rude and told me when the cop shows up at my door I believe who they are. I was redirected to someone who would take my payment if I wanted to avoid being arrested. When i questioned why I hadn't received any mail and wanted them to tell me my address. He rambled off an address and when I said I never lived there he said must be wrong person and hung up. Total scam, just wanted money. No one has arrested me yet...

The recorded message was like a robot saying something about an arrest warrant. I called back and a foreign person answered and kept saying they're from the irs and i filed incorrectly in 2015/2016 and they found it to be that i was trying to steal from the irs. I asked her am i going to get some documentation and she said no because someone came to my house with a certified letter and i had 2 choices to rectify this. Oh she first started asking do i have a criminal lawyer to take me to the court house and i was like for what, i think you have the wrong number or wrong person. So anyways she gave me 2 choices, 1 to get a criminal lawyer and go to the court house today or i can pay her now and they'll make an appointment for me to go to the irs office. First off she called me by my old married name in which i havent filed under that name in almost 17 years. I remember hearing about this type of scam where they use this as a scare tactic and people fall for it and pay over the phone. I said we'll ill just wait for a letter then she said ok well the local sheriff will come out with the certified document and arrest warrant for you....Unbelievable!
